Stitching for a Cure!

Outside of some types of skin cancer, breast cancer is the leading killer of women. That means most of us know someone who is either a survivor, a warrior, or has lost their battle with this dreadful disease.

There is something we can do besides pray. We can stitch, and there are dozens of designs on Ann the Gran honoring Breast Cancer awareness. Stitch up a warm fleece blanket (check out some tips for embroidering on fleece), a tote bag for medical appointments, warm shirts, or a centerpiece for an inspirational wall hanging.

Here are some designs you may want to try:

Angel Ribbons part of the Cancer Quilt Blocks 32-design set.

Believe part of Pink Ribbon Blocks 17-design set.
