About amanda1

New quilter and ME user.  Have sewn own clothes, but with an ever changing figure have given that up as a bad job.  Have done one or 2 small quilts but am excited to try my hand at combining applique, embroidery and quilting together.  Have a wonderful partner who is busy converting a room in the house into a sewing room - he at least has faith in my efforts.  Just bought a Brother 700 about 2 months ago, but not had much time to use it.  Next week is full steam ahead!

Have inherited 4 children and 5 grandchildren from my wonderful man - am dying to make things for the 2 granddaughters!  Am going to have such fun.

Hi there

Just wanted to share the good news! I am off to Australia in May on holiday.  It is my partner's mother's 90th so we are going over to celebrate.

I cannot wait to see all the sewing, quilting and embroidery shops over there.

Hope everyone is hanging in there in these hard times!
