    Rita: As long as you are careful not to poke through the fabic it is fine to cut the stabilizer down between the letters, lines of text or anywhere else you fell is helpful. I do this most of of the time anyway so I am not pulling on the fabric as much when I tear it away. I have used Ann's tear...
