  • Re: tensions on pe700ll

I found the test at http://www.annthegran.com/cs/blogs/avid-embroiderer/archive/2008/07/03/the-avid-embroiderer-presents-needles-july-3-2008.aspx helped me. After doing the test for my format I was able to adjust a little better than I did by eyeballing it. Sue

  • Re: tension

debi, Either your top thread is too tight or your bobbin thread is too loose. Most of the time it is bobbin too loose or debri in your bobbin slot. Try cleaning the little slot that your thread goes through in your bobbin. If it is clean, try tightening the bobbin tension very slightly at the time and...

  • Re: timing

Pattiann is right, that cost does not justify the machine. I do recommend that you check to see if there are other embroidery machine technicians in your area. The fee is very high in my opinion. It would be more reasonable to ask $75 or there about. Let us know how things are going. Pat, The Avid Embroiderer

  • Re: Madeira bobin fill

Pattiann is right, this is not a problem with the thread or the brand. Other issues might be tension of your machine. To check the tension, you can use the tension test in my blog " Needles ." Use the test for your format and the blog shows what it should look like. I also recommend that you...

  • Re: Please help - is it a tension problem??

You are one busy lady! I will try to be brief. Do take some time (when you can) to read this blog on needles . And, when you have time, read this forum for the PE700II . Both of these will help you a lot. I do encourage you to use black in your bobbin and make sure the stabilizer is strong enough for...

  • Re: Tension Question!

Pattiann is right again If you want to see info on tension, check my blog about needles which includes tension testing information. I think I did a good job on that blog and would love to hear what you think about it. Pat, The Avid Embroiderer

  • Re: How do I eliminate thread loops?

I agree that towels can be a serious situation in ME. There are tons of ideas on what to do, and frankly, some are contradictory and some do/don't make sense. I suspect, and certainly could be wrong, that you have a tension issues. Loops are generally a tension issue. Loops sometimes look like a...

  • Re: Best stabilizer for tea towels

Hmmmm, could you give us a photo to see what happened? A water soluble stabilizer is what I would recommend for this item. The question is, was the stabilizer light, medium or heavy weight? So so stitching hints of a tension issue. There are plenty of people here to assist you, let us see what happened...
