When I'm embroidering on a fabric that I'm afraid will pinch like the one in the photo, I will use a fusible stabilizer. I really like fusible polymesh. Even though it's a cutaway, it's very thin and soft. Glenda

Pat, Thank you so much for answers, When I was pondering my problem, I did look at the Stabalizer and material. I actually used a heavy cut a way . I also hadn't changed my needle from my last project and it was making pretty big holes in the material. I looked at my material chart and needle usage...

In comment to you not hooping T-Shirts, sweatshirts or towels. I don't hoop towels, but my question is this - isn't it hard to get the garment in the correct spot if you wait until you have the hoop under the machine. I always use the table in my laundry room so I can lay things flat. I have...

  • Re: Stabilizer scraps

Is it OK to use some temp. adhesive spray to "fuse" two pieces of to stabilizer together with a small overlap and then use it for a sew-out. I've done it, with some success, but just wondered if I'm barking up the wrong tree. laruej

  • Piggyback Hooping

Machine embroidery is an expensive craft. We have to buy our embroidery machines, then designs and/or software for creating and adapting designs, special threads, and finally stabilizers. It is difficult to reduce expenses on most of these necessities and still get good results, but I’ve figured...
