I also purchased the Bobbin Side Winder and absolutly love it!!!! I use my empty pre-wound bobbins that I purchased and have used up and load them with the colors I am embroidering with, where as before I just used white or black bobbin thread. It is so easy to use!!! Cathy/GA

Purchased the SideWinder as is a great idea to save the annoying problem of having to remove everything to wind a bobbin. Haven't actually tried it yet .

I agree with Judy and Joan (they are both so knowledgeable). I use prewound bobbins almost exclusively. When I have to use another color, I have been winding myself (and I do mean winding myself) with my machine. My PE 180-D did require an adapter but I was never sure if that was because I got the wrong...
