  • Basic Font Software

I just recently purchased a used PE-150 and also bought PEd basic, now I am looking for something I can combine letters with to save words to load onto my card. I don't want to get into complicated software or digitizing just something easy I can use fonts with. Any suggestions? I want to go very...

  • Beginner needs software help!

I acquired a BL Ellure ESL. After calling several dealers (getting various answers) and reading info online, my head is spinning. I'm trying to find out what I need to buy to access designs on the internet. Rather than Palette, would something simple like Brother PED basic software work? Apparently...

  • Re: Need to enter a space in text on PE-700ii

On your PE700II, you will see an underscore and it is generally found near the end of the letters. I too have had to do multiple lines. If you have 3 lines, each line would be a single design file. Save them using your 'pocket' icon and load them individually. Be sure that you check your guidelines...

  • Re: Alphabet Xpress

Hello, You can go to 'file' and 'save as' and browse to the folder to save the design on your hard drive. From there you may use a program to copy designs to your card, in this case you need to browse to the folder you saved the design file to and then transfer to your card. Thank you...

  • Re: How Do You Organize And Save Your Designs?

These are really great methods for your designs. May I make one suggestion? When you are printing out the information, look at the settings in your printer dialog box. Select "draft" if at all possible. It uses a lot less of that expensive ink! Also, in some cases, you might be able to put...

  • Re: USB Blues

I have a PE700 and I had a similar problem. If you check in your manual on Page 63, you will see that you can only store 12 designs or 512mb of designs. Chances are that you already have some in the memory. This was a really tricky question, because my dealer could not answer it and Brother Technical...

WOW, Marge, I want to see that design! I try to avoid so many color changes because it is so time consuming. On the other hand, so many color changes make for a beautiful eye catching and awesome design. You are so right! Saving a design to your machine is the same as "backing up" your designs...
