  • Looking for Free Blue Star Mom

Hi, yes i know they have the designs here, but I cant afford to buy them, as i do this as a charity service for the Wives and Moms of soldiers. My own husband is a Gulf War Vet, who is ill. And I just feel this is my way to help other families who have soldiers serving overseas. I never charge for any...

  • Can't Open File

Hi, Why can't I open up any of the free design files ? I downloaded some a few years ago & had no trouble at all. I even managed to download some this time, but can't open them at all ( from opening direct or opening from a saved file ). Both ways I just get a box saying "Application...

  • Need urgent help with pe design!

Hi All, I've purchased a design from a website in .pes and .pec format. The design is just an outline, and I need to edit it with fill stitches. Problem is I can't do this in Layout & Editing and can't open the file in Design Center as it's an 'unexpected file format'. Have...

  • Re: May Goodies Problem

You might try the PES1 (if you downloaded PES5) or vice versa. According to Support, some machines require different formats and you just need to see which works correctly on your machine. It makes sense because manufacturers are competing to have more features and 'fun stuff' so things do change...

  • Re: PES1 vs PES5

I used the PES1. I have contacted Support to determine what the difference is on these. I do have Vista and that may be the issue. Support is not on duty on Sundays, so I expect to hear from them tomorrow. I hope you are enjoying your new found craft. Participants tend to get addicted and it is a great...

  • Re: is your designs format art

Occasionally a site will change its location and the link becomes "broken." That was the case here. Try this new link and be sure to select the blue icon that says "set up" which is in the middle area of the screen. Thanks for letting me know that my link was obsolete. I don't...

  • Re: having trouble seeing download on machine

jpitre-I have this issue once in a while too. I usually delete the file and redownload it, sometimes that works. You don't mention your machine type, but I will assume it is PES compatible. Occasionally, you might have downloaded a larger design than your software/machine can use. For instance, you...

  • Re: viewing zipped files

Hello Jeannine, You will need software to view embroidery files. The free designs are in PES zip file format, you will need to first extract the PES file. Your software may not support PES files. In this case you may need to convert the file format to the file type your software reads, i.e. JEF, SEW...
