Making name tags to pin on

I'm going to a couple shows next month and I wanted to make some name tags for my mother and me. I have some pinbacks, so I want to make them firm enough to glue to the pins. What should I use as the base fabric and stabilizer? Or any other tips? Thanks.

I have tried to use it and it never works for me either,LOL. I think we should just get rid of it as well,it is more confusing than anything,not really sure how many folks actually use it. Kath,glad you got your name tag done ! My hubby took one look at them and said "I am not wearing that"...
