  • The Devil is in the details

Mom was right, the devil is in the details and he has had a devilishly good time with embroidery - - - Just like any computer aided process, out thinking the required steps can be very challenging indeed. If you figure out the stabilizer correctly, then the thread may be acting up. If those are working...

  • Re: What is your method to keep organized?

I forgot to mention that I use my Hugo's Amazing Tape a lot! I got the 3 pack and am delighted because of the different sizes. It is quick and easy on stabilizers. I had used rubber bands, but they left a mark on the stabilizer. My daughter used it in her recent move and said it was great because...

  • Leather 11/28/08

(Me singing) "Rain drops on roses and whiskers on kittens; the smell of leather and warm woolen mittens . . . . " Oops, you caught me, I love the smell of leather, it seems earthy, rich and makes a wonderful handbag. This time, I am doing a luggage tag for a client who is giving it as a gift...

  • Re: Hugo's Amazing Tape

I agree, I know I will find more ways to use this tape. I guess my favorite part is that there is NO glue, goo or paste. That makes it a clean tape that is really great. If you are traveling via an airplane, you need to be able to save space everywhere you can. On my last flight, the airline charges...

If you are bashful about telling us your tape ideas, I am not . . . . I needed to prop up one of my plants, and guess what I used? It is almost invisible and is not bothered by sun or water (so far). I have the 'on board' accessories for my vacuum but the one brush was always falling off. Now...

  • Hugo's Amazing Tape

I am requesting that you post your most unusual or interesting use for this great tape. The prize is our gratitude! I recently took my BabyLock in for service. My Tech, Bob (he is really knowledgeable and so helpful!) was upset because I had "adhesive tape" on the side of my machine. When I...

  • Re: Madeira Thread Chest

Another things about the 'chest' puchase. If a spool of thread gets dusty, exposed to light, dropped or otherwise mishandled, the damage to the thread can be enormous. This is what happened when I used a "recommended" tape for one of my threads. I used the tape on a thread that I did...

Donna-I use a brush too, I better check on it. I had no idea this might happen. I did get some Hugo's Amazing tape and I just love it!!! I have used it for putting items together, like projects that I am still working on; closing boxes that I will be in and out of a lot; I attached small things to...

  • Re: FAVORITE GADGETS you wouldn't want to live without in Machine Embroidery

I have heard about this tape. After seeing the product here at ATG, I can see it will be an asset for me. I am always looking for a way to keep things 'bundled' up. The description says I can even close a suitcase. . . Well, I will be checking that one! Pat, The Avid Embroiderer
