  • Re: So lost!!!!!

I understand. You cannot do an "add" or "merge" with another design, i.e., letter then add the frame in the machine. What I do (I have a 10 needle but sometimes have to use the PE770) is to carefully make sure that both my designs are centered. I always use metric. It takes some time...

  • The Giving Tree

One of my favorite authors was Shel Silverstein; he was truly one of a kind. In addition to many books, poetry and artist, he wrote the music and lyrics for "A Boy Named Sue." You can read more about him here . As a teenager, my daughter was really touched when she read The Giving Tree. It...

  • Re: Tracing design without sewing

You might consider using the 'frames' group Brother has already built into your machine. Place your fabric and the place where you will be entering the letter, and use the 'square frame' with a single line. Enter your letter into the machine as if you were ready to sew. Place the square...

  • Reed, Dear . . .

This is a layout I created using my suddenly Spring Page Kit . The journaling reads, " Santa brought Reed a John Deere tractor. When Reed took it for a spin he got out and pulled the tractor around every time he wanted to change direction. I'm sure he'll get the hang of the steering wheel...

  • Re: Hooping A Store Bought Tote Bag

I love to help, and this is one of those things that you will say. . . duh! Most machines have the basting built in but it is called "frames." In this case, it is Item #4 on my machine. This is the configuration on my machine, and of course, yours will differ. In this case, select "frames"...
