I had the same problem and have used a fusible interfacing which I iron on the back after I have finished embroidery. It's called Fusi Knit and is VERY soft and light weight. After I have machine embroidered a design on a T-shirt, I remove the stablizer on back side, the threads and sewing are very rough, scratchy and irriating to the skin when t-shirt is worn. What can I do? from Judy Wiest
