  • RE: Gadgets you wouldn't want to live without!

All the posts sound great! I have found many useful ideas, and some I am proud to say, I have been using already! My best purchase was my Magna Hoop , as it has saved me a lot on stabilizer. I recently bought a 26" LCD tv that I am using as my computer monitor for all those fine details on creating...

  • Re: Catalog Express

The short answer is YES!! The Catalog Express is one of the best tools you can have! You can convert files to any format, not only does it categorize, but it will open files in your software that you have by double clicking on the picture. You can also use Alphabet Xpress to add lettering, they are completely...

  • Re: Catalog Xpress worries

Hello, First save the design from Xpress to a folder on your computer that is easy to find later. For example save the design file from Xpress to c:\my designs. Open the software (you use to send designs to your Futura machine) and browse to the folder you saved the design file to and open the design...

Whenever I am doing anything in Catalog Express ,( which is on sale this week, don't pass this opportunity to get this NOW) I back up everything, then if I think I didn't I back it up again! I do the same on my machine too. We who live in Florida have learned ,that with the continual power outages...

  • Re: How do you convert the pes to jef?

Personally I use Ann's Catalog Express, then I can convert any format to .jef ! I have used the freebies in the past and they are alright for a time but when you get to the point where you have a ton of designs like I do,then it makes complete sense to invest in some good tools that do several things...

  • Re: saving designs to a Janome memory card

You are so very welcome! Before I forget it, there is a drop down menu in Alphabet X so you can save it in your format, I am not sure what you are using but am assuming it is .jef files" or maybe Hus files , any way you can change it by the drop down menu , it is underneath where you can name your...

  • Re: saving designs to a Janome memory card

Hi Marge, Yes I have the customizer too,and you can load to your card from that as well, all you have to do is click on where it says ATA card and it will give you a choice of writing to the card or write, read, and erase. I never use the second one, but I do the first once in a while now. Having Cat X...
