  • Re: Thread Pilot

Just a little note on the Thread Pilot - all the commercial machines have them! I try to learn from the big boys and not reinvent the wheel. With the new lower price, you are in good company!!! Pat, The Avid Embroiderer
  • Re: Thread on Thread Pilot.

Sometimes it does take a fresh approach just to get to the matter. I am glad you are able to go on to the next project! BTW, you can use small spools (I don't know of one that would be too small) and, in general, do not need to go with the 'cones' which are for professionals. The spools of...

  • RE: Gadgets you wouldn't want to live without!

All the posts sound great! I have found many useful ideas, and some I am proud to say, I have been using already! My best purchase was my Magna Hoop , as it has saved me a lot on stabilizer. I recently bought a 26" LCD tv that I am using as my computer monitor for all those fine details on creating...

  • Ann The Gran Water Soluble Stabilizer

I love the Ann The Gran water soluble for so many reasons, one being it's durability and another for doing free standing lace on. Since I have started using the ATG water soluble,I am more confidant in doing more free standing lace. When you need it to dissolve, you just spritz it with some water and...
  • Shopping Up A Storm

  • Re: Thread Pilot

First, you will want to make sure that the Thread Pilot is facing the correct way. (See the picture on the cover of the instructions.) Next, you need to make sure to remove the thread you are using from the spring while you are sewing. As it says in the manual, it is there to hold the end of the thread...

  • Re: Thread Pilot

I don't use the thread guide,I simply let it flow through the top. I bring it from the spool up through the spaces provided on the top of the pilot, then directly to my machine. It flows much better and I have not had a problem with it catching in the spring at all that way. I only use the spring...
