  • Beginner needs software help!

I acquired a BL Ellure ESL. After calling several dealers (getting various answers) and reading info online, my head is spinning. I'm trying to find out what I need to buy to access designs on the internet. Rather than Palette, would something simple like Brother PED basic software work? Apparently...

I just bought a PE 700 machine and PED basic to go with it. the instructions told me to download drivers from the brother site since i have a windows 7 for the ped basic. did that....now what? It would have been...

  • Keeping It Simple – Getting the Right Design to the Machine

Getting the right design into your machine is a most important part of enjoying your embroidery experience. I have been using an embroidery machine for so long that lots of things have become second nature and I just do them without thinking. Like viewing designs using the Brother PED-Basic and transferring...

  • Re: Catalog Express trial

I just downloaded the trial verison of Catalog Express. I like the way it works. Only one problem though I can not write to my PED-Basic box from there. Apparently it will only write to the Amazing box or Ultimate box. Or am I missing something? Other then the fact that it is 11:12am and I have not yet...

  • Re: Bobbin Thread Weight

Boy am I glad I found this forum. I just purchased a PE-700II two weeks ago and was ready to return it to the store until I found out I was using the wrong bobbin thread (I did my research before purchasing this model too). I had no idea there were different weight bobbin threads. I was using the prefilled...
  • Re: PED Basic software

Welcome to the wonderful world of machine embroidery (ME) and AnnTheGran (ATG). ME is the most fun craft, it is beautiful, and creative, you are going to fall in love! I am wondering what you mean by "recreated so that the PED Basic will copy them onto the card." Recreating a design would only...

  • Re: PED Basic Error Messsage

I don't know anything about the HE120. But, I do have a thought that might help you. Sometimes the card has been adjusted to the higher size of hoop, believing that you want to use only 5" x 7". In PED Basic, in the upper left corner is the size adjustment. Select the smaller size, 4"...

  • PED Basic Error Messsage

I have always used the PED Basic with my Brother HE120 (from HSN I think it is the same machine as the SE350)) with no problem. I bought a PE700II, used it in that machine, and now I get a message on the HE120 saying "Card cannot be used with this machine". The designs are appropriate for the...
