    I have just seen your post, I have had the PE700 for about the same time, and had a similar problem, I took it back to the shop several times but nothing helped. In the end I emailed Brother and sent them pictures of the front and back of items to show them the problem. A couple of days later a nice young man called me and told me I was using the wrong

    I'm not sure if this is the right place for my comments but I would just like to say that I bought a BrothernPE700e (e-for europe,I'm in the uk) about 18 months ago. It has proved to be a fantastic machine, I could not bear to part with my old machine( PE150) but I have to admit I have hardly used it since I got the PE700e. My only niggle is
