  • Re: Ann The Gran Community Circle

Community Circle 2009 by far was a great success. There were so many wonderful classes, great ideas and new goodies to try. The appliques are terrific, there are a gazillion aprons to make, new ideas on looking at ourselves as "not a dress size", digitizing made easy (!), fabulous information shared on so many topics. I had a fabulous time
  • Chickadee Tote Bag for my Mom's 85th Birthday

My mother who just turned 85 (a very young 85), flew out to VA from AL for a visit. She has sewn for as long as she can remember, her mother had a treadle sewing machine that she learned on. Mom has an embroidery machine but it isn't like my Babylock Ellegante. Well, she fell in love with the machine and we had such fun making the Chickadee Tote

  • Re: RE: Gadgets you wouldn't want to live without!

All of your ideas are great. I buy the organic lettuce and it comes in a very nice plastic container with a top, it is clear and easy to see what the contents are. Ribbon, beads, elastic, buttons or whatever. It is about 8" X 6" so it is a generous size. Also I keep really nice boxes that have either a removable or attached lid and cover it

  • Alphabet Xpress

I really like Alphabet Xpress!! It is soooooooooooooooooo easy to use and I can make some great projects in no time at all. It is reasonably priced and there are options to add more fonts to use. Wouldn't it be great if the ATG alphabets worked in the software!!
  • Re: Perfect Placement Kit

The Perfect Placement Kits are just terrific!!! No more goofed up designs on my embroidered items. It was so difficult to try to guess where the next design started and now thanks to Eileen Roche I have designs going in the directions that they are supposed go!!!

  • Re: Digitizing software

Hello Again, I found these web addresses for those interested in checking out the trial digitizing programs before you buy. Use one at a time so that you get maximum benefit of the trials. You can only use them once and the programs recognize your computer's IP address. http://www.amazingdesigns.com check free downloads or free trials http://www

  • Re: Digitizing software

Hello, I have tried several digitizing programs. One of the more affordable is Embroidery Magic 2, usually around $99, but if you like Ebay there are some people on there that will let you make an offer. Fancy Works is by the same company and runs around $329 it has a few more bells and whistles and both are pretty user friendly. PE Design 7 is ok but
