His shop is on the other side of the back wall. When we bought our new home the builder was not quite finished. We were able to have him put a wall up to make the big family room into 2 shops. As you can see the grand childrens toys are getting pushed further and further to the other corner. The best thing I did for myself was to go to Walmart and Target and purchase the plastic draws and put them on the counter. How nice it is to have&amp;nbsp;everything within reach while working. Some of the bottom cabinets have yarn and fabric in, since I am a knitter, crocheter and sewer also.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;It is just like a kitchen though. All that cabinet space and it is still not enough.&lt;/p&gt;

I placed the original fabric on top so that you can see how after cutting the layers, the rug takes on a life all of its own.&amp;nbsp; For the bottom of the rugs, I use old bedspreads, old sheets, etc.&amp;nbsp; Good part of this project besides it being fun, sale fabric can be purchased and fabric that has collected dust in the sewing room for a long time can be utilized (finally).&amp;nbsp; This particular rug is about 4 years old and in a heavy traffic area from garage to family room.&amp;nbsp; assistant.&amp;nbsp; She would sit behind my machine and take out the pins I had skipped.&amp;nbsp; She would then flick them and pins would&amp;nbsp;fly everywhere.&amp;nbsp; This prompted me to purchase a magnetic retractable pin grabber (another great gadget ladies).&amp;nbsp; Chelsea was my sewing companion for nearly 20 years.&lt;/p&gt;
