Fairly, new quilter that enjoys the creation of meaningful artwork from swatches and yards of fabric. Background in creative art and 44 years of sewing. Quilter for about 4 1/2 years. Lap quilting is preferred over framed, loves the mobility of lap quilting and the feel of the quilt between the fingers. Keeps more than one project going at the time, with one at the machine in the daytine and another lap quilting by night. Sharing parenthood with Mike, who fathered 4 children and my two. Of course this brady bunch is grown and out of the home, busy making us grandparent. Nine grandchildren keeps me busy with new quilts annually. Husband and I own a poultry operation, which means I no longer work away from the home. This has allowed me to have the time to enjoy my hobby more than usual.
