I just joined your group even though I am from Portland Oregon.  My cousin does live in Pompano Beach though. 

Today I joined Ann's Club as well as purchased her Catalog XPress.  I am awaiting my license number so I can get going.

I recently bought a Brother ULT 2003D.  I have taken some time to get familiar with the machine and am now excited to download and organize designs to use on it.  I have had some fun buying thread and stabilizers, etc.  Now I just need to put it all together and create.

I was excited to find a group having fun doing what I enjoy.  I am new to machine embroidery, but I am learning fast.

Let me say Welcome.

You will love CatX, I could not do anything without it.  Make sure when you put your designs in it that you put them where you can remember.  Don't ever change the way they are on your hard drive after putting them in CatX.  CatX looks for them where they came from.  That is the one mistake I made in the beginning.

I was not able to succesfully download the Catalog Xpress.  At the end there is a spot to enter a license number which I assume is the serial number.  When I enter that number I get an error message of Unknown security error 22.  I have an email into the Ann's support person.  

I really appreciate the input on where to put the designs.  Between wonderful Vista operating system and my first computerized sewing/embroidery machine, I am feeling a bit challenged.  My last machine was my mother's 1954 Sewmor with the cams in the back.

HI Marge,

Upon trying out my CatX, I am unable to use the cut, paste, etc functions.  The tabs are not lit up even.  Any ideas?

Just checked my CatX and you have to click on the design that you want to edit for the tabs to lite up.  Try this and if it doesn't work get in touch with support.

Also when you cut or delete scroll down to the bottom and all the designs that you have cut are there.  If you want to delete them entirely you will get a dropdown that says "delete from CatX or from hard drive.  Be careful on using this, If you want to keep the design on your drive but not in CatX just delete from CatX.
