    I was busy today

I had a project that I needed to get done, and since I was off today got busy on it.  Took me all day, but it is finished.  I just need to get it packed up and in the mail.  I was working on a fabric bowl and doily.  The designs came from http://www.chantells-creations.com/   A very good friend recommended this site to me and after stitching this out today I highly recommend it to you.  I am so please with the results.  I've posted pictures in the CF Media area.  Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Judy, when I get the other bib done, I will post those pics, also.  Hopefully this week.

    Thanks Roseanne!

I just saw your fabric bowl and doily,Wow! I absolutely love the colors you have chosen for this, it is in a word>>>> Gorgeous! I am anxious to see your bibs as well, you do very nice work!

So how the heck is everyone?? Sorry I was out of touch last week, but as you all know I had visitors, and it is nice to have the house back to abnormal. I love the little one but boy, an extra 3 people in the house made it seem so small. Then I had to catch up on the blog as well that I got behind in,LOL  But am doing great this week and feel like I have accomplished some things. Tomorrow I will spend the day in the sewing room as I have things to get made for the holidays, found some great designs that are specifically designed for metallic threads,so they should be very pretty, will have to reserve judgment until I actually sew one.

The new blog comes out tomorrow so make sure you all take a look at it as I think you will like it a lot! For me ,right now, I have been busy cataloging some more designs, you never really know how many you get until you start cataloging them,LOL I think I need to quit buying them for a while so I can get caught up on them.

If anyone needs anything remember you can also e-mail me via the site,or if you have my e-mail feel free to do so. I am also on the Im as well(yahoo messenger) so we could talk more personally and in real time as well. Take care everyone, hope to see you soon,

    RoseAnn-

Excuse me as I am an outsider but like to read the ideas that the Central Florida Embroiderers post.

Went to site you suggested and THANK YOU!!!  I had been looking for a crochet edging; actually fringe for a few cross-stitch items that my Uncle had done after he retired.  He recently passed away and some pieces were given to me.  Could not find an 'old-fashioned thread fringe' edging in fabric stores and had no trips planned to NYC to search the garment district.  It was on the site you recommended.

    THANKS!

Joan, Glad to have you with us.

Judy, I should have info from Heart to Heart very soon. This storm put me behind on somethings. So this is catch up week.

    To All,
I could say I was busy yesterday. I finally got my software on my new laptop. Had to figure out how to make Palette work with Vista. I wish Microsoft wouldn't keep changing their stuff. I am having to relearn everthing just so I can get things to my machine. I am sure it will be worth it when I start sewing again.

Hope all is well with everyone and no one gets caught with the rising St. John's River water. I've been keeping up with the Orange City and Deland area. Is anyone near the river? I hope not. I was at the river today and the water is unbelievable... I am a native Floridian and I can tell you I have never seen anything like this before.

    Roseanne,
Your work is beautiful! I have to admit it took me awhile to find the pics, but it was so worth the search.  What program do you use for digitizing? You may have mentioned it but I don't remember.

Joan - So glad you were able to find what you were looking for there.  This is my new favortie site and I can see myself spending lots of money there.

Cathy - I use PE Design 7 for digitizing.  I am still very new at it and am learning as I go.  We don't live near the river, we're right of 17/92 near Enterprise Road.  I had to dodge a sink hole last weekend but other than that we're okay.
