    Hi, I need a general purpose stabilizers , it doesn't need to be adhesive , nor water soluble. I see there are a number of annthegran stabilizers but I'm confused to what I need. Would you suggest medium ? or lightweight ? what about the soft ones ? do they work as well ? I do a number of dishtowels...

    hi folks, i use the large size coffee filters for a stabilizer , and they work great , try them in hoop ,then the spray 505, or a filter then spray glue the sticky stabilizer to it, after sewing the emb. remove only the used part then just attach more sticky stabilizer over the hole in the filter --...

    One trick you could use is the Badgemaster Stabilizer,that would hold up well for this project. When I did mine I used a layer of fabric,stabilizer, a layer of Tulle, then another layer of fabric, then Ann's Water Soluble on top or all of it. I used Ann's Heavy Cut Away Stabilizer for the inside...

    I can not stress enough the fact ALWAYS,ALWAYS ,ALWAYS do test sew outs for any type of fabric. It is the best way to tell what stabilizers you need for that particular item.Some may need two,three even more .I never do any embroidery without WSS on the top.It just makes every project come out nicer...

    My goodness,I just realized you had two types of fabric you are using here.Silly me !I would say again for the cotton,what are you using for stabilizer's? Cotton is a very light weight fabric,so dense stitches are likely to pucker it. I just thought of something else as well,did you re-size the design...
