  • Re: PC Problem

You don't say exactly what software you are using or what the error message is, so answering this is difficult at best. Pattiann has some great questions for you. If you are using "PE-Basic" and the error message is "No Sewing Data Available" - I do know that one - very well!...

Sorry to hear of your friend. She loved the quilt, I know. When we give, we are blessed. Bless you. Pat, The Avid Embroiderer

  • Re: Hooping and getting it straight

The Navajo Indians do the same thing, it is to show that imperfections are, as you said, natural. Joan-I appreciate hearing things about your craft like this as much as learning the craft itself. I hope the youth of today can somehow learn and embrace the simply joys of life, such as crafting. Tell us...

  • Re: Pardon me!!

Deb responded to me via the conversation area, so here is her 'sound bite' of info about her and the quilt. Hey Pat and all who are kind enough to view my play blanket. Pat has asked me to share a bit more info on the blanket. I bought my Brother 4000D when I found out I was going to be a grandmother...

  • Re: Gypsy Gripper and Amazing Little Gripper

I only wish I had invented the Gypsy Gripper & Little Gripper! They're awesome! I always had trouble with my ruler moving when cutting fabric strips. With the Gypsy Gripper, cutting strips is a breeze. The ruler doesn't move. The Little Gripper is great for the small rulers or templates....

  • denisity and puckers

IS there a way to emb the more dense designs and not have the puckers? I am using ads. stabilizer and a good topper. The needle picks up the entire thing while sewing. The designs are pretty, but the finished project is ready for the waste basket. I am realy getting burned out. I am using a 9 in. square...

  • Re: What fabric brand do you recommend?

Quilters: What do you suggest? This is rather significant puckering. The outer frame of the design is on the dense side. I did think about skipping that border and using one of my own choice. It would depend on how effort intensive it would be on Mary's machine. Newer machines can frame this with...

  • Re: What fabric brand do you recommend?

Mary - I don't do quilting, but I would think that you would have success with a cotton-polyester blend. I personally like that fabric because it is durable and generally remains wrinkle free. I would love to see your projects. I feel that I don't have the patience for quilting because of the...
