Yes Rita, it is an Ott-light. I have two of them,one in my sewing room and one in the living room for my hand embroidery as well.I would not be able to see anything without them ,lol. these old eyes are not getting any better with age either ! Along with everything else ,lol.

Hi Linda, You do really need one of those Side Winders ! They are so awesome ! They really are not an expensive item either. Once you have one,you will wonder how you lived without it !
