how do you convert a jpg picture file to a pes embroidery file

A friend has a boat and has had a logo produced for it and wishes me to embroider this onto some towels.  How can I convert the existing jpg picture file into a pes embroidery file please.

    Hello.

The logo would have to be scanned.  From that image, you would have to utilize your design software package for digitizing the logo.  I have a Brother Innov-is 4000D machine so my design software is the PE-Design.

If this will be a single digitizing, you might consider using Net Emb .  If you are a member of Ann's Club, you will get a discount!

Software for good digitizing is expensive.  They start around $300 for a limited type of digitizing to $1,800 for a substancial software for personal use.  The commercial ones are a LOT more.
