How Do I Post A Photo

    Hi,

I have read somewhere in this forum and now for the life of me I can't find it, how to post a photo in my message. I don't have a blog or website of my own, so where would I get the url from.

    Thanks

Re: How Do I Post A Photo

Good Morning!  I know how frustrating it is know you saw the info and not able to find it.

Go to this link.  That will give you the information to upload a photo.  At that area, as you are uploading, you will find the URL.  Copy and paste it when you get to your desired location.

If you have already uploaded your photo, do this:

    • In reply, select the film strip
    • In the tab with your user name, you should find your photo
    • Double click and it will appear in your forum post
    • You may need to adjust the size, do so by a single click on the photo
    • You will see small squares around the photo, grab it and pull toward the center of the photo

While at any link you want to save, select the "Favorites" tab in the upper right hand corner.  You will see the options and select the one that says "this post."  When you want to see it again, simply go to your 'Profile' and select the "favorites" tab and there it will be.

Caution, the name of the 'favorite' may not generally identify your 'favorite.'

Please stop by my latest Blog  and let me know what you think of it.

    Pat,

I took a few photos and followed your directions on uploading. They were great. The only problem is that I know how to downsize my photos, but what size do they need to be? I get this message even though I downsized to 25kb. Huh?

This photo cannot be uploaded due to the image quota applied to this gallery

    Thank You,

    Nancy

    Hi Nancy,

For some reason, I am having the same problem.  Went to post a Project Photo last nite and spun my wheels.  I have posted previously and had no problem.  Haven't figured out as yet.

It must have just been a temporary glitch. Yesterday it would not work, today it worked!! I posted a few pictures of my craft room in the Photos gallery.

Thanks again Pat for your instructions. Smile

Problem has been resolved.  More space has been opened up for the Projects / Gallery post.

Re: How Do I Post A Photo

I can't figure out how to post a photo ini the Gallery ssection.   I've read the FAQs and other places, but the answers don't make sense to me.  I don't see a Media section to choose.  I don't see any place that says I can post a photo.  This is the 3rd time I've tried to post this question and it always comes back as an error occured.  HELP!!  Thanks, Pat

Joan is so right ladies - the names have been changed to protect the guilty. . .

If you want to post a photo here, in 'reply' select the film strip and follow the prompts.  I like seeing photos here attached to an idea or issue.  Then again, I just like photos.  Here is a photo of the pashmina that will be sold here soon.  I have had several orders from my neighbors for holiday giving.  These are really nice for placing over the shoulders of someone to keep off the chill.  The colors will be ivory, black, red, navy, chocolate, gold and burgandy.

No problem....so glad it worked.  AND, your sweatshirt is very sweet and done very well.  There are enough frustrations in life, we don't need any frustrations in what we love to do -- machine embroidering!
