    Alphabet Xpress and PED Basic

I have used Alphabet Xpress to create a design and saved it to an embroidery card with PED-Basic.  Before I saved the design, my PE180D Brother machine seemed to read the "blank" card...at least it did not give me an error message.

However, once I saved the design from Alphabet Xpress to the card and put the card into my embroidery machine , I got an error message saying "This Card Cannot Work.  Turn off the machine and insert an embroidery card."  It DOES read an embroidery card because I tried one and it read it fine.  Arrggghhhh!  Can anyone help?

(Greg...want to come to Alabama and make the darn thing work????  I'll make you biscuits!)

I'd do practically anything for home-baked Alabama biscuits, Rita! But alas, the distance is just too great; if we had the technology, I'd gladly teleport one of our Support team to you in return for you teleporting me a plate of steaming biscuits!

We'll have to settle for another way to help you. I'm passing this to our Support team to see if they can help. My suspicion is that it is a PED-Basic issue rather than an Alphabet Xpress issue, but we'll see what we can do.

    Dear Rita:

I am guessing this problem could be because you saved them in different version and that is why your machine read it before and not now. Please try to save them in different version of PES format and see which one your machine is compatible with.If your problem did not solve with this suggestion please send an email to support@annthegran.com.
