    new to digitizing

I would like to start making my own designs, but don't know which digitizing software would be best for me. I'm looking for an inexpensive - easy to use program. Any help appreciated.

Best and inexpensive do not go hand in hand.

Here a couple that provide trials so you can try before you buy.

I'm using a trial version of embird and can't figure out how to convert my projects to "pes" It doesn't give me the option, or I can't find how - either one. Are you familiar with the program? If so, can you help? When I save my projects, they're saved as "BMP" or whatever the default is. Don't see one for pes, but it does give me the option to use hoop size for brother/pes. so what gives?

    Any help appreciated.
