It sounds like you have had your hands full for some time. I hope things are going better for you.
I don't have the machine or software but might have a suggestion. I would call around to the Viking dealers in my area, and beyond to see if there is someone who can help.
Even when the main page for Viking may have removed some of the information, they almost always have a forum for questions or someone to contact. I would contact the support for the site as well. They usually have a way to get in touch with some one to help you.
Don't give up, keep searching! Also, you may not be aware, but Google, Yahoo, SearchMe and any other of the search engines never bring up exactly the same information. So if you are using Google, give SearchMe a try, etc.
