I have been able to download PES designs onto my computer, but cannot unzip them in Windows Vista. I have tried everything imaginable, but no luck so far. I have read where someone has used WinZip successfully and others who tried it and had no luck. Help !!

I use a program called Extract now which is free.

http://www.extractnow.com/ The down load is at the bottom of the page.

Before you extract anything make a folder then send the files to that folder. You can extract a lot of files at once instead

of doing them one by one.

I have downloading the design and cannot open them.

The downloads are in a zipped file. Find where you have stored the download. "Mouse" over the design you want to open. A small screen will appear. Choose "extract all".

Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

If you try the password too many times and it fails, you are locked out.

If you do not read and follow the instructions, the process will not work as intended.

If you want help, contact ATG Support (click on Contact at the bottom left of any screen) and discuss any particular issues you have with the proper source.

Unzipping designs

I always loved your sight but anymore I can NOT download any of the designs I order and PAY for.

I can Not even get through to sign in with out changing my password etc. WHAT IS WRONG I AM SURE

LIKE MY SELF THERE ARE MANY OTHERS HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. SO UNTIL YOU FIX THE PROBLEM

I WILL BE PURCHASING MY DESIGNS ON OTHER SIGHTS.

On the instruction page/screen of Download Designs, click on the highlighted words to open their program.

Your PC's operating system probably already has an unzip feature. It may be open, open all, extract or extract all.

Mouse over the file/design you have downloaded and a window will open with several options.

i think " extract" is the key word instead of unzip. hope this helps!

I also have A janome 350 E and have had difficulties changing the pes format into jef. Have you been able to do this ? I would prefer to use free downloaded software and have not been able to understand the process Ann offers, I have downloased Pulse and Acrobat - and would be most grateful for some help. Renaming the file with the .zip extension worked for me. Thanks for the help.

The operating system for your PC (windows) already has this function. Click on the file that you want unzipped and select extract all.

Win Zip is a free download if you would rather use it.
