Will the rewriteable card in pes format work in the ped basic box? Is it about the same thing? I am needing a blank memory card.

Hello.  I have two Brother machines.  One is a PE-400D with a PED Basic Card and Box.  The other is an Innov-is 4000D with a PE Design card and box.

If you have a PED Basic card, it will work with the PED Basic Box.  The card is for downloading designs and bringing them over to your machine.

We have done some research into your question. It is important to us as well because, as of next week, we will be carrying the PED-Basic box in our store. We are already carrying the Amazing Box and Ultimate Box and their corresponding cards. We contacted the technical support departments both at Amazing Designs and Ultimate Box, and here are the answers we received:

Amazing Designs - The Amazing Box MAX cards will not work in PED Basic or Palette PTS systems. Conversely, the PED Basic cards can be used by Amazing Box MAX without problems.

Ultimate Box - Ultimate Card ver.II will work and it MUST be specified in the order that the card is for PED Basic, as the card needs to formatted correctly.

    Hope this answers your questions.
