    Catalog Xpress

I have a Singer Quantum XL-6000 embroidery machine and the only software I have for this machine is the "Sew Ware Conversion Tool".  I would also like to say, that I'm very new to the EM world and am "free download crazy" so in just a short while I have gotten quite a few files to organize.

    My problem is:

I am using thr "trial" version of Catalog Xpress and only have about 20 more days on my trial.  I love this program but am having problems with the program opening the file in my software.  The software will open, but the file won't, Now the file will open, but I have to go find it first and needless to say, I would have to know the file name of the original (since I'm really finding  this on my hard drive ) In the Xpress software the name is different than what it says in "Windows Explorer" thus I'm back to opening all the files until I get the right one.  (I've actually organized all my files via Windows Explorer but needless to say, can't see the pic.)  Does anyone else out there have a "cure" for me??????

    Re: Catalog Xpress

    Hello,

There are two ways to insert designs into the Catalog Xpress software. One way is to click on the insert button and browse to the folder location the design is stored in. A second way to insert designs into the software is to right click a design file and choose 'send to catalog xpress'.

Catalog Xpress points to the folder location you insert the design from. It is important not to delete or move the design file after inserting the design file into the software. If you do delete or move the design file then delete the 'not found' icon in Catalog Xpress and insert the design file again into the software.

    Thank you
