I received an email that stated I have ""friend requests".....??

Can anyone explain this. I can't find anything about it on the page it sent me to.

I got the same email--said I have 'friends' (a link) and when I clicked on it, it says "this page does not exist".  It was on the AnntheGran site, so I looked further and found nothing.  I am a new member, it was an automated thing--oh well.

I can see that the site has had some changes in the last few days. 

I have been exploring the changes and plan to have some information in the forum as soon as I have something to share.

The 'Friends,' it appears, is so that you can reach out in friendship to someone.  I think that there is going to be more to it shortly.  As I said, I am still looking and poking around, but there is 'groups' and that might be related to 'friends.' 

The Net is full of sites where you can 'connect' with someone as a 'friend.'  Flickr is one of them.  If you click on the "Contact" in the right corner of this thread, you will see 'add pat71896 as a friend.'  That is how they selected you.

So far, I am just looking at the avatars which are showing up in my profile.  These are the people with whom I have had some contact, I think it is cool!

JeanieJoe-My link works and I have talked with others whose links did not work. 

Sounds like they are making a change, and as usual, one or two little glitches will occur.  I had you as a friend.  I will try it again and see if you get it this time.
