On the left is my Badgemaster fsl. On the right is a heavy duty, water soluble stabilizer that is available at most every embroidery store I have ever been in. Yard for yard, Badgemaster is so much less expensive but does come in a large roll. You will use it up, I can almost promise.
I suppose I am being overly enthusiastic about Badgemaster, but this tells the story. Some of the fsl on the right did work, but upon 3 failures of the stabilizer, I just ripped it out and threw it away. When my Badgemaster came, I did this sample and dug out the failed stabilizer from the sewing room trash.
