I purchased catalog express a few years ago and would like to upgrade i downloaded the newer version and tried to use my activation but it would not work is there an upgrade fee and how do I get it

Yes ,there is an upgrade cost for customers who own older version of CatalogXP.Please click on the link below to get all the information about upgrade as well as link to Trial "download".

but it says on the web site if you are upgrading from Catxp 2.0 to 2.5 it is free but it still wont take your license??

I am sorry for the confusion , older version means version 1.5 or less than that.You are right for customers who own version 2 ,the new upgrade 2.5(2.0.0044 or 2.0.0.0035) is a free upgrade.
