Elaine S, you got it, I'm on the extreme East side of Ocala off Hwy 40.  Can't wait to see that Rubbermaid full of your handi work Kath.  I'm getting so excited.

Already making plans to pull out of here EARLY tomorrow.  I have a 2 hour drive to Orlando BUT there are a few stops to make before we get there trying to get as much in as possible, Lunch will be a nice resting point 1/2 way through our day.. HAHA

Welcome Corrie, took me a few days before I figured out how to post as well so just read and laughed a bit before figuring it all out!  Looking forward to meeting you too.

Tomorrow is the day WOO HOO

one more day, we are leaving early too, Bob likes to stop if he sees something interesting.  We have to pick up friends that are coming in from Norway tonight, they of course, are coming into Sanford.  But we don't care we are ready to drive back tomorrow, we don't have a lot of things as we said before we give everything away.

    Elaine,

I HATE those early morning "fur ball" wake ups!!!!! Bummer...also, we have three dogs and if one lets us sleep in, the other two don't...etc. I have no idea how they hear a pinecone hit the ground outside and don't hear me calling them when they are four feet away!! Can't figure that one out!!! LOL

    Elaine,

Did I mention that my hubby will do the ME w/ me too...we sometimes have a regular sweat shop going on w/ me on one machine and him on the other...iron going...sewing machine going...serger...you get the idea. :o)  He is getting a hang on using the correct stabilizer too. He's a sweetie!!

I know what you mean about not coming to you, the dog I mean.  We are watching our best friends dog for a month and she is a jack russell chiccccua mix and she is hyper!!!  Today is the last day and the cats are more than ready for her to go home.  It takes us a month to get her on our schedule and then she leaves, it must be very confusing to her.  She can be so sweet but really stubborn too.  You got it right it was a fur ball and I should haveleft her on the bed as it was I had 3 spots on the carpet to clean up by moving her.  I put a blanket she likes from the ASPCA on the our bedspread and I couldhave cleaned that up easily.  NOw we have to get t he carpet cleaner out again.  THis little dog showed she was angry by going on almost every carpeted area at first.  WE were ready to find a kennel for her.  Well, Bob has finsihed the lawn must be lunch time.  later, tomorrow

no way, I thought Bob was the only one, he is a stickler about the stabilizer too.  He irons away like crazy.  I think I am over that after years of ironing while and colored dress shirts for his work.  We are getting ready to change the den into a sewing room also.  We have a futon in there and it is going and buying a cabinet for the machine.  He is still holding on the to the dream of a 6 needle baby lock.  But hasn't been able to make h is conscience say it is all right to do it.  The den is next to his hobby woodworking shop and so we would at least be in the same area of the house.

My cats like the little blanket (fleece type) that came from the ASPCA...I keep threatening them to return there if they don't straighten up, but it falls on very old, deaf ears. LOL Obviously the dog was showing you how dissatisfied it was w/ its owners leaving it for a time w/ cats...of all things!! Ken just finished the lawn too....and he fed the dogs and cats...and is now on his way to Publix to return our expensive $1 DVD from last night. See ya tomorrow!

    Elaine,

I tried to contact you directly w/ the "contact" option on the emails, however; it doesn't seem to be working! It took me directly into a discussion about hoops on a Brother machine!! Okay..then. Can you see if you can contact me directly using the same "contact" button on my site???

    WinkKath,

I don't know what you did ,but I just sent you and Elaine and e mail via the site so let me know if you got them .

Well, would you believe it ,I am done with my projects for tomorrow and I think I have everything gathered up that I intended to bring,if not ,oops, next time ,LOL. I finally got everything finished up about an hour ago and got to just sit for a minute(literally) then went to the bank and Winn Dixie. I am cheating tonight with Fired Chicken and potato salad. I am whipped!

Is everyone excited??? Tomorrow is it!!! Kath, you can only bring 1 carload of stuff ,ok! LOL,just kidding, it will be wonderful to see everything you have ,and everyone else's as well. If you don't have anything to bring or just plain don't want to ,that is alright too. Please do not feel like it is a must! this is fun,so let us try to keep it that way! I am so excited about meeting you all, some of you I have met, others I haven't so it will be great to put faces to names and find out who all the crazy people are,LOL(besides me!). I already know some of you are,I won't mention names,LOL. I hope you all have been thinking about a charity also. We will wan to hear your ideas on them ,as we will want to get some things done tomorrow as well, like breaking off into smaller groups that are closer for us to get together on a more regular basis.

I have a kitty blanket I made for mine for the bed,I am bringing it tomorrow for something else, but they love it.Not so much this time of year but in the winter when it is cooler they adore it.they both have darker hair so it is the only Way I can keep it off my comforter.

Well, that is it for me right now,I will see you all tomorrow for sure.Until then ................Happy Stitching !Big Smile

Marsha, Couldn't agree with you more.

Thank you, Judy, for getting this together for us.  What a great group of ladies and fantastic projects.  I met 4 great ladies that live near me, one in the same town.  We exchanged emails and plan on getting together.

Ann, it was great getting to meet you.

I, too, look forward to when we can do it all again.  Maybe, next time, I'll have some projects for show & tell.  Well, at least show, I'm not much of a teller.Embarrassed

Ladies and Gents, Thank you all for coming today and making this such a special day for all of us,without you guys we couldn't have had nearly as much fun.! I will be looking forward to seeing each and every one of you guys again real soon.

We got to the end of the luncheon and I and some others realized that we never did discuss anything about any charities,Imagine that, but now that you all have an idea of folks in your own areas, pick a charity that you all can agree on to do something for. I will be posting a few ideas in the next few days,or if you have any please feel free to e-mail me with them. I think I am the only one who really doesn't have any one close to me here in the boonies, lol.so I guess I will just latch on to someone and join in .

Marsha...we all go so involved in chatting and checking out what everyone made, I forgot to ask you if you wanted to try to get together w/ Eleanor and myself...along w/ the gang from Okeechobee and have a sewing day? I haven't asked Corry, Joan and Judy yet if they want to join us, but this is their invitation now!!

I need ideas for Christmas gifts...and now is the time to start sewing for everyone so there isn't any last minute rush!! (Not that we all don't do that anyway!!)

Let me know what you might be able to do....even if we all meet somewhere inbetween and do a "brain storming" luncheon!!

It was so very nice to meet everyone and see all that talent. I saw projects that I have no idea who made them...they flew past me so quickly that I barely got a glimpse of them! Joan...with your jean purses...did you line them? How did you close them...I didn't even take a look inside! :o(   And who made the bags out of screening material? What type of needle did you use? Stabilizer? Corry...with the little blocks...did you digitize those cute little animal designs yourself?? Lynn...were you the one that made the cat w/ the saying about cat hair in your food??? See what I mean...we all need to back up and  recap the afternoon!! I feel like I missed so much...we need a private condo for our next meeting and we can have it catered by Dominos!!! LOL
