I would love to met up with everyone for lunch or something.  Maybe sometime in July, as I'm in Colorado right now and won't be home til the end of June.

Big Smile Well I am happy to report that we all really don't live that far away from each other. So heres the plan, today I am going to get the good ol' Florida map out and place a sticker where we all are, then try to choose a central location for us all to meet up. Superbit....you don't live that far from me so I can pick you up and take you home.I am 20 minutes from Tampa.

Then I will check around for some place for us to meet,( gosh the internet is wonderful isn't it) and let every one know if it is a possibilty for every one to get there .Looks like we have several from the Port Orange area. Let me do some figureing and I will sure let everyone know and we will get everyones input on it.

To be fair to everyone I will try my best to find a spot not too far for any one to drive,Maybe some could car pool to make it easier for you all.

Keep you all posted  and I am getting excited about it.I think we could all have a lot of fun.We can talk about what we are doing, our family's and get to really know each other. Most importantly, what we are all doing with ME!!!

Thank goodness Florida is a skinny state, but it is a long one.I am glad to see so much interest in doing this!!

I will be back sometime today to let every one interested the place. Thanks a bunch every one!

I hope you will check out my blog called, "Stitchin' Shortcuts!",  for shortcuts, tips and tricks of sewing. spend my winters in Zephyrhills, Fl and live on the east coast of Canada the rest of the time.

Have 2 brother machines.   The new Duetta and Innovis 1500D.   Have a passionate affair with both machines.    Love your state in the winter, but gets way to hot after April.   Thanks for having me for 6 months.

    Smile Hi Joyce,

Oh boy do I know what you mean with the passionate affair with your machines.I have withdrawals if I am away from mine for more than a day,Take my computer away as well and I am a basket case! LOL

I understand about the heat here in the summer,it is ,well, toasty? LOL You do get used to it after some point,Now I freeze if it gets down to 70 degress.

You are welcome here any time you can be here for sure! We love the company! Don't fret either, hopefully if we can get a group together in a central location for all, then maybe we can do a few of these a year. Wouldn't that be GREAT ! It won't be as wonderful as what Ann had for us but I am hoping we can keep it informal ,cozy and comfortable for everyone. It would give us an outlet for our craft,we can stay posted on what everyone is doing and what they would like to see happening in the future.

We can discuss any thing  from time managment to the latest projects we are doing. We can have a Q&A session between us,pretty much any thing. Also I would love it if everyone would bring the latest thing they are working on,if it is not too large to handle for them.

Bring a friend too, that would be great. If you know someone who has been tetering on the edge about ME,bring them along so they can see what a wonderful community of people we all are.

You all notice that I don't use the term Ladies any longer,I was wonderfully amazed while at the community circle to discover how many men are into ME. I think that is just Wonderful!

So Joyce ,Thanks for sharing.Maybe we  will see in the fall sometime.By all means Keep in touch!

Sorry it took me so long to reply I had to go to citrus county with my son today. This sounds great to me if I can find someone to take care of my aunt that day. She just came home from rehab. She is 61 and downs. She does not get around real well yet. Still working on therapy and diet as she is only 4'6" and over 200 lbs. She is not able to do anything on her own except eat and drink. Needs help with everything else. I may have to miss this one which really stinks.

    Hello Everyone,

After looking at the map in detail, the best places for us to meet up would be either Kissimee,Orlando,or Wintergarden. Lets here your thoughts on it too.

With the continuing rise in gas prices it would be great if many of us could car pool. Also What are your thoughts on what type of meeting place you would like.Such as : an I -hop ,Italian,Chinese ,Beef O'Bradys?? Pizza? Seafood?

Let me hear your thoughts on it and I will try and get something arranged.I also need a head count so If i call any restaurants,I can give them some what of a number.

Orlando or Winter Garden would be perfect.  I would like most anything buy really like Chinese, but, of course, I'll go along with what ever.  Since as I know an exact date, I can let you know if I can make it or not.  I'll have to check the schedule at work.

Just wondered where you are.  I am in Tavares.  I have an embroidery machine as does my brother who lives here and two friends in my neighborhood.  Tavares is right next door to Mount Dora on one side and Leesburg on another.  We are about an hour North of Orlando and about the same from Daytona Beach.  We need to start a Central Florida group to get together and share plus make new friends.  I retired here about 5 years ago.

Hi all, I live in Titusville also.  I see two post of ME's on this blog.  Would love to get together.  If there are seafood lovers out there, there is a wonderful restuarant here called Dixie Crossroads.  It is an icon in Central Florida and they have private rooms.
