Sew just the outline on a SE270 Brother

I have a PE180D and a new SE270, I cannot get the new SE270 to do just the outline of the design. It wants to embroidery the entire pattern all the time. Please help

Have you tried advancing through the design colors till you get to the outline? It is usually the last thing to be stitched. HTH
