I actually spoke to Brother today about the PED Basic box, and confirmed that we'll be carrying it. Just working through the logistics and we should have it up within the next couple days, priced under $140. The only issue is that Brother is on back-order for these, as they are selling like crazy, so I'm just waiting to hear back from them as to when they are getting the next batch in.

I HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED A PURSE USING MY PE700.  THE CONFERENCE REALLY GOT ME MOTIVATED TO SEW AGAIN.(THANKS TO MY SISTER LINDASEWCRAZY) 

I CAN'T WAIT TO GET MY PED BASIC BOX.I DON'T KNOW EXACTLY WHY. I AM NOT SURE WHAT IT DOES.

BUT I'M SURE I NEED IT.

Donna:  The box will open up a huge amount of designs from the internet that we would be unable to get.  Our machine PE700, does not connect straight to the internet and this card and reader is how we transfer from the internet design shops to the sewing machine.  You really only need the one card, which you write over and over...

I am still loving my PE700.
