In the manual, there are instructions on how to do embroidery around applique designs. I still haven't been able to figure it out! Any suggestions?

Thanks this helps. I couldn't figure out how to get the applique settings to pull up on the screen of the machine. Are there any built in applique designs?

Glad it is of some help! What machine do you have? If it is a PE700II then there is one built in applique design. No 29 in the second set of designs. Refer to your Quick reference guide pg 19 the very bottom row it will be first design on far left. If it is another machine then you will have to refer to your manual, etc. Best of luck to you, kt3234 Karen

Yes, I have the PE700II. I will give it a try this weekend! I had purchased some applique letters, and couldnt get the applique setting up on the screen when I followed the directions in the manual. I was afraid it was some how not an option on my machine even though it was in the manual! Thanks again for your help.
