    Jump Stitches on designs

I am brand new to Machine Embroidering and am enjoying myself very much.  I wonder if I am making a mistake on my designs though.  I have purchased the Disney designs from Brother and have been decorating BUrp clothes for a new Grandchild.  I have been cutting the Jump Stiches that show up on the faces of the characters as they do not show them on the illustrations.  The eyes, though, do not seem to be sewn very long and I wonder if they will fall apart in a wash?  Am I not supposed to cut those?  Any advice would appreciated.

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello Nana in OK!

Do not wish to impart my bad habits to anyone, BUT, when the jump stitches interfere with the design, I do cut them.  If they blend nicely, I leave them alone.  My machine back tacks so I really don't get too concerned with it.

Much love with the new grandchild.
