You have some babies designs I am considering purchasing.  They are Cross Stitch embroidery.  I have a Designer 1 and have done alot of embroidery but never cross stitch.  Do you need any different embroidery hoops or feet to do cross stitch or do you just download on disk, insert and sew as usual.

I have done many cross stitch designs using my usual hoops and thread and they turned out fine

I probably forgot to ask the most important question.  Does it take a special computer program for cross stitch embroidery?  I hate to sound so dumb but would be better to ask now than after the purchase.
