I don't know much about Husqvarna, except to know that it is an excellent machine, but I do have some unsolicited advise for you.
You may consider reading my Forum Post on PE700 instructions. While I used a Brother machine, the instructions are the same for any machine. I hope it helps you understand and get started on your first/next project.
I also do a blog that I am very proud of, and I try to share my experiences with all embroiderers, both newbie and experienced. My anniversary (one year!!!) blog post was a recap of some of the things we all need to remember. Believe me, we all were bewildered at one time!
