    timing

    My Brother PE 150 is not showing the top thread-only the bobbin. I have changed tension but none help. A sewing machine person said it was my timing AGAIN-another $200 fee....Is their anything I can do???

    Try setting the tension back to what is recommended in the manual.

    Re-thread the machine, with the presser foot in the up position.

    Test a design.

    If the problem persists, you may want to consider trading up for another model as one service fee is nearly the value of the machine.

    Pattiann is right, that cost does not justify the machine.

    I do recommend that you check to see if there are other embroidery machine technicians in your area.  The fee is very high in my opinion.  It would be more reasonable to ask $75 or there about.
