Greetings!  I don't know whats going on with my computer, but it seems like I can't download any designs from anywhere.

I have noticed that they all say this before you click download.  I'm not a computer geek but I have made quilts with designs and have always been alble to download, have any idea what it could be?    WinRAR ZIP archive.  Think I should uninstall

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are asking.  Win rar is a zipping utility similiar to Winzip, but it uses the .rar extension.

You see if mostly on files from Europe, nothing wrong with it, just takes a different unzip utility, you'll need Winrar, or another one that unzips the. rar.

But it isn't something you see a lot of, so that's where I'm not sure what you mean. Where does it say that before you download? Did you install winrar and it's trying to be your unzipping utility?

Hmmm..... I never heard of that one, but if Kraftycat says it is like WinZip, I know she knows her stuff!

Sometimes you need to just close down the pc and restart it again.  That is an old Microsoft joke, but it works a lot of the time.  Let us know what is going on.  We want to learn from you about your venture.

This might help you    http://www.rarlab.com/  I was able to d/l and evalutaion copy and I use it all the time for unzipping all my zipped files.  I like it so much better that the winzip.
