    ART files not showing preview

     When I was using the demo version, I had no trouble viewing thumbnails for ART files. Now, however, this is inconsistent. Some of my .art files show the preview when I drag them into the catalog, but a lot of them show a blank (no preview picture). Can you tell me what's going on? Based on what I saw in the demo, I bought the program because it was working great. Now, however, it's not working and I'm feeling a little panicked. Please help. . .

    Please send us an e-mail at
    support@annthegran.com and attach a few example ART files that are not displaying properly in your Catalog Xpress software.

    We will investigate the issue and get right back to you.

    Was this issue ever resolved?  I've just downloaded the trial version, and it does exactly what I want ... EXCEPT lots of my ART files are not showig the preview.

    Hello,

    Catalog Xpress will read ART files but does not support ART version 4 files.  Can you try saving the files in a different ART file format version?  Then try opening the files again into catalog xpress.

    If you are still not able to see the files, we recommend you e-mail a few example ART files to support@annthegran.com.

    Over My Head!

    I am so far over my head.  I have  Husqvarna 955E machine with the 4D embroidery software that I desperately want to use!  I have downloaded lots of frre designs and have purchased many.  I have been able to unzip most, but I have purchased 2 sets that don't seem to want to open.  In desperation, I downloaded the trial version of Catalog express (I really wanted to wait until I know what I am doing to really be able to use it).  I can't open them with it either.  When I right click, I get a box, but there is no way to send it anywhere, and when I click on open, nothing happens. Some of the designs show "strings" in them . And where are the Sulky colors on the color conversion charts?  I am afraid I will need an engineering degree before I can get started!!  [:'[:'(]  Jeannine

    Over my head!

And why do some of the designs show "threads" through them only in the Catalog Express view?  I'll need an engineering degree before I can do this!!  Thank you for ANY help!Jeannine

    I believe ATG support will have to work with you on this. 

    I get the nasty blue message on occasion - you can report the name of the discussion, again to support.

    The post will eventually appear.

    Please e-mail the example design files to support@annthegran.com.  Also, please include if these were free designs downloaded from AnntheGran.com.  If so, please include information on how you found the designs, i.e. category you went to, etc.
