    What did I do wrong? Please help!

    While attempting to upgrade the software on my Brother Innovis 4000D machine,

    it showed on the screen that the upload was complete.  I then attempted to turn the

    machine on again, and it asks for a "certification key #" which is eight digits,

     and it did not give me a number, and it also won't let me go past it.  Now my

    machine is locked up and won't even sew either!  I am really in a mess!  Can someone

    please tell me what I have done wrong?  and how can I fix it?  Thanks.....  :(

    Have you tried calling your local dealer?  I've not heard of that happening but I have the ULT, things change. But that just doesn't sound right. Have you tried contacting Brother?

    Otherwise, I hope someone has more info on this for you.

    If not, contact Brother.  You may have to reload.
