    I like to challenge myself

I really like to have a challenge for myself and feel it helps me to keep sharp.  I have been going to this site http://www.freerice.com/ for several years and it donates rice to United Nations World Food Program.   It is a game where you select from several topics and then select the correct answer to a question.  When you are right, rice is donated, when wrong, well, you try again!

It is for real, there is no gimmicks.  There is, however, a small notice:  WARNING: This game may make you smarter. It may improve your speaking, writing, thinking, grades, job performance...  and, they are not kidding!  I was thinking about simple algebra and could not remember if you . . . well, I could not remember simple algebra.

There are many subjects.  You can improve your vocabulary because it asks about a word, and if you get it right, then on to the next word.  If you get it wrong, it tells you what the right answer is and about 6 or 7 words later, it comes up again.  Aha!  It makes you remember!

It is a good cause - give it a try, you might get addicted.

Thanks for sharing that, Pat. It's a great link. A perfect example of how it's not just the younger generations who are trying to find ways to use technology and the Internet to make the world a better place.

    Hi BB!

I have been doing the vocabulary and cannot get passed Level 40.  How did you do?
