How do I create my own...

I am kind of new to this. I have used embriodery before, but I now have a box to download things, and write them to a card. I want to create some of my own designs. How do I go about this? Is there a program I can download? Can someone do it for me if I send them what I want? Please help!!

If you are looking for simple software to create Monogram and add some designs to it ,please have a look at our

Alphabet Xpress software,it is free for 30 days and you can get it from this link:

There are also more advanced software under Amazing Designs link ,which offers great digitizing tools.

I learned how to do basic design creation by watching the DVDs by Adorable Ideas http://www.annthegran.com/Product.aspx?t=1&i=689

and by taking classes on the software that I purchased.  Designer's Gallery MasterWorks (sold at Baby Lock Dealers) is a complete digitizing program that is pretty easy to use and there is a good video workbook to go along with it.  Brother's PE-Design is good too and the dealers usually offer classes.

To clean up artwork so it digitizes better try PreDesign http://www.annthegran.com/Search.aspx?q=pre-design&ssp=/2/9/3

If you just want to do lettering try Alphabet Xpress http://www.annthegran.com/Product.aspx?t=1&i=6585

     Have fun!

There are many different "digitizing" programs. Some are better than other, others are for a particular embroidery machine. Some are more expensive than others. Some are complete systems and others let you purchase parts and pieces in the digistizing system.  If you just want a design digiitized send a message to ohmitchg@yahoo.com  He does digitizing. What embroidery machine do you use?

Thanks for the advice. I have a Bernette Deco 600.

Look at Embird (including Embird Studio) which is a lot cheaper than most.  also something called buzztostitch.   I don't know the sites but I think there are places on the net that can digitize for you.  I would look around but it is not hard to do some simple digitizing and then go from there.  I have PE-Design (for pes designs) which is nice, but if doing it over would start with embird studio.
