    Dowloading Free Design

The free design (butterfly) downloads as "Download Trial Now htm".  It goes to my embroidery file just fine.  However, my conversion software will not convert htm to JEF.  I have both Catalog Express and Buzz Tools and neither recognized htm.  I have tried several times and finally end up with "This program cannot display the Webpage.

    Hi, Betty.

There are many free butterfly designs in the Free Designs section.

Which design and designer aer are you wanting to open?

I have not seen the "download trail now" that you are referring to.

There are two options when you select the design you want to download - Ann's club and download design.

To download a design, click the second option.  a twisting icon will appear as the file is being selected.  Wait.  A second download page will appear - click.  This is the actual download and you will be prompted to designate run or save and to what location.

The designs will have two or more pages.  The design, and data.

Download to documents, then copy and past or cut and past the design to your software.  The data page(s) will be thread colors or in the case of applique, in-the-hoop directions and thread colors.

More information may be found in the tags (see below).

    Re: Dowloading Free Design

I have done exactly as you describe on several of the designs with different contributors.  I get the very same file.  "Download Trial Now. htm and since it's always the same file, it wants to replace the one I just downloaded.  I do not have this problem with other sites whether they are free or I purchase them.  This is the first time I have downloaded any from AnntheGran site in quite a while but in the past I never had a problem.  I have Vista operating system.
